Note the neon sign of Badger Display Studio, Inc., the house at 1105 Williamson--one of two on Williamson Street with Gothic vergeboards, 1101 Williamson and 1053 Williamson with the billboard. Not in the view is the Meeks Auto Body shop, where Broom Street Theatre is located that had the first neon sign in the neighborhood. Note the wide street terrace prior to the Highway 30 street widening of 1953.

1105 Williamson This house is one of two houses on Williamson, and one of only three in central Madison, that features an original Gothic vergeboard. The house was built in 1860 by Thomas Dineen, a lumber dealer, making it one of the oldest houses on the street. (WAHI #115867)
